The JNIMS Students Association (JSA) is a student organization for medical students in both MBBS & BDS courses at JNIMS, Porompat, Imphal. It is the sole organization registered under the guidance of teachers, and the board of directors of JNIMS. It works for the welfare of the students and participates in active events organized in JNIMS. It was first established in 2011 with the recognition of JNIMS as the 1st State Medical College Institute from JN Hospital which was founded in 2009. Since then, the office bearers of the JSA have been putting forward the annual objectives for the welfare of students.

OBJECTIVES OF JSA 2025-26
As we the JSA members are elected to represent the whole students of JNIMS, We put forward our sole objectives for the welfare of all the students of JNIMS as below.
Tree Plantation at college Ground
Planting saplings around the college .
Upgradation of college library
Since the current condition of the college library is not good, proper lighting, appropriate table & chairs will be installed
Looking for changes in Fee Structure
The change of fee structure with new fee plan on previous batches will be re-revised again not to be affected.
Organizing Voluntary Blood Donation Camp
As a calender program JSA has been organizing Voluntary Blood donation camp on every 14th February & 13th August.
Campus fitness centre
Construction
Planning of a new well equipped Gymnasium and an indoor stadium.
continuation of ANNUAL JNIMS Inter-batch Football & VOLLEYBALL Tournament
An ANNUAL Inter batch football cup and Tug-of-war/ Volleyball will be observed .
Proper lighting around Dental Gents' Hostel
Due to poor lighting around dental hostel and road connecting it, many cases of stealing vehicles are rising. Thus, proper lighting will be installed as soon.
Organizing the official convocation Ceremony
With the farewell program of JNIMS internees, A convocation program will be included.
